Charlene Loglisci is the Sales and Marketing Director of Brandywine Senior Living at Huntington Terrace. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and has worked with senior citizens for over 10 years. While completing her social work internship in a skilled nursing facility she discovered a fondness for working with the elderly. After graduating, she obtained a position as Director of Senior Services in a local community center. There she was successful in expanding services for both the Adult Day Care program and Senior Community Service Center. After several years, she moved on to her next venture as the Resident Relations Director for an Assisted Living Residence. Noticing her skills in introducing seniors and their families to assisted living and helping them in their decision making process, Charlene was then named Community Relations Director of a new assisted living residence. After her years of successfully building up that assisted living residence, Charlene was then appointed to head up the sales and marketing of another new residence, that one Independent Living.
Since August of 2008, Charlene has worked at Brandywine Senior Living and assists seniors and their families find the "right fit" in the Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care program. She has served as President of both the Gerontology Professionals of New York
(GPNY) and the Long Island Coalition for the Aging (LICA) and has been an active member of the Senior Umbrella Network and Association of Generational Experts for Seniors.
